In India, bank exams are often considered in high regard for aspiring candidates who wish to step into the banking domain. There are multiple bank exams that are conducted by various banks and testing agencies across the country every year.

IBPS Exams
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is an examination body that conducts the selection of employees for a large number of banks. The IBPS conducts several online bank exams for this purpose. The following are the exams conducted by the IBPS:
IBPS PO Exam: The IBPS PO, officially known as the IBPS CWE (Common Written Examination) selects candidates for the post of Probationary Officers for various public sector banks (PSB) as well as some insurance companies which are its members. The IBPS PO exam pattern consists of three stages:

SBI SO Educational Qualification
The Educational Qualification varies as per the requirements of the different SBI Specialist Officer posts. The details about the same are as follows:

Assistant Manager | Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 60 percent or above marks. 2 years of work experience for a Bachelor’s degree holder and 1 year for a Master’s degree holder. |
Deputy Manager, Relationship Manager (OMP), and Product Manager | B.E./ B. Tech along with MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree (as full-time course) with specialization in Marketing |
Circle Defence Banking Advisor | Must be a retired Major General or Brigadier from Indian Army or from comparable ranks from Indian Navy or Air Force. |
Manager (Marketing) | MBA/PGDBM or equivalent with specializations in Marketing/Finance. The minimum work experience is five years as an executive in supervisory/management role in the field of marketing digital and other financial products in a scheduled commercial bank or public sector or listed financial institution/company. |
Deputy Manager (Marketing) | MBA/PGDBM or equivalent with specializations in Marketing/Finance. The minimum work experience is two years as an executive in supervisory/management role in the field of marketing of digital and other financial products in a scheduled commercial bank or public sector or listed financial institution/company. |
IBPS PO Age Limit
The IBPS PO age limit for general category is as follows:

IBPS PO Educational Qualification
The institute specifies that candidates who wish to appear for the IBPS PO exam should at least have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Candidates appearing for IBPS PO exam must be abreast of the latest exam pattern and syllabus of the exam.
Other qualifications acceptable as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree such as AMIE, departmental courses from the government etc. are also allowed. For the courses mentioned above, the candidate should furnish proof that the qualification is considered equivalent to a degree (Graduation) by the Government of India.
